Hurricane Preparedness
As each Hurricane Season approaches, the Lion Hurricane Preparedness Team has a message for our valued customers. Our plans are updated yearly based on past experiences and we are fully prepared to provide a continuation of service during and following a hurricane event. Our Hurricane Preparedness includes:
- Pre-staged generator power to provide continuation of the Lion ERP Systems
- Pre-staged product in alternative locations to provide continued supply
- Fully equipped remote business teams that will cover the Sales and Distribution, Logistics and Warehouse, Procurement, Accounting, Quality and IT support processes remotely, if required
- Alternative communication methods to support disaster response and business continuity
- Pre-event procedures to ensure the availability of critical information if systems are down
- Procedures for all employees to prepare work areas for hurricane impact
Our customers can assist in this preparation at the start of each Hurricane Season (May thru November) by providing your Lion sales representative with a three month forecast so that we can include your future demand in our preparations.
We at Lion hope that this year's Gulf Coast hurricane season is uneventful. However, if we have to face a hurricane event, we are confident that our plan provides continuation of service for both our domestic and international customers.
