As the 2009 Hurricane Season shows increasing signs of activity, the Lion Hurricane Preparedness Team has a message for our valued customers. We have updated our plans for 2009 based on past experiences and are fully prepared to provide a continuation of service during and following a hurricane event. Additions to our Hurricane Preparedness for 2009 include:
- Pre-Staged generator power to provide continuation of the
Lion ERP Systems
- Pre-Staged product in alternative locations to provide
continued supply
- Fully equipped a remote business team that will cover the
Sales and Distribution, Logistics and Warehouse, Procurement, Accounting,
Quality and IT support processes remotely, if required
- Established additional alternative communication methods to
support disaster response and business continuity
- Established additional procedures to ensure the
availability of critical information if systems are down
- Developed new procedures for all employees to prepare work areas for hurricane impact
Our customers can assist in this preparation by providing your Lion Sales Representative with a 3 month forecast so that we can take the necessary steps to meet your demand.
We at Lion hope that the Gulf Coast 2009 Season is uneventful. However, if we have to face a hurricane event, we are confident that our plan provides continuation of service for both our domestic and international customers.
